Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,473 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Position Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for safe function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, stoop without difficulty. Able to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must have specific vision abilities including near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care experience. Certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS. NBRC required. Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) may be required in some areas.
