We are seeking a versatile Sales Support Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role blends traditional sales support with hands-on marketing execution, including the creation of brochures, product sheets, and other collateral. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable using AI tools to work smarter and faster. This is an in-office position requiring daily on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with quotes, order processing, and customer follow-up
- Maintain and update CRM records, pricing sheets, and sales reports
- Coordinate with production and shipping to track order status and resolve customer issues
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals for prospective clients
- Support trade show planning, logistics, and on-site materials
Marketing & Collateral Development
- Design and produce brochures, catalogs, spec sheets, and other print/digital marketing materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing materials
- Update and manage content on the company website and social media channels
- Coordinate photography/video needs for products and facility
- Support email marketing campaigns and customer newsletters
AI & Technology Utilization
- Use AI tools (e.g., Canva AI, ChatGPT/Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar) to accelerate content creation, copywriting, and design drafts
- Leverage AI for research, market/competitor analysis, and drafting sales/marketing copy
- Identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks using AI-powered tools
- Stay current on emerging AI tools relevant to sales and marketing productivity
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, marketing, or a related administrative role (manufacturing industry a plus)
- Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) for brochure/collateral creation
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for content creation, writing, or design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with print production/vendor coordination
- Basic photography/video editing skills
- Familiarity with SEO and social media content strategy
- Prior experience supporting a B2B or industrial sales team
