Our client is currently seeking a REMOTE: Wellness Coach


Job Details: Ongoing W2 Contract (No End Date, Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements )
Location: REMOTE
Hours: M-F 9am-5:30pm PST (40/wk)
Compensation: $35/hr


The Wellness Coaching Role supports an innovative, multi-dimensional healthy-aging program designed to help adults 50+ stay active, independent, and engaged. The program uses data, technology, and a science-based approach to help members understand their health trajectory, reduce the risk of age-related decline, and build sustainable habits that support long-term well-being.


Members receive personalized guidance through digital tools, customized action plans, and one-on-one coaching. As a coach, you will play a central role in helping members onboard, set meaningful goals, and stay engaged through ongoing support delivered via phone or video sessions.

Role Overview: We are seeking energetic, articulate, and compassionate individuals to provide enrollment support and ongoing wellness coaching for new and existing members. You will help members navigate the digital platform, prioritize their health goals, and maintain motivation throughout their wellness journey. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with older adults, and is passionate about healthy aging.

Responsibilities

• Member Support - Guide members through onboarding using a web-based application and digital wellness platform.
• Autonomous Coaching - Work independently to meet the unique needs of each member.
• Goal Setting - Coach members to establish, refine, and prioritize their health and wellness goals.
• Technology Guidance - Teach members how to navigate digital tools required for the program.
• Follow-Up Engagement - Conduct scheduled follow-up calls to maintain engagement and track progress.
• Ongoing Adjustments - Update member goals and action plans as their needs evolve.
• Insights & Feedback - Share learnings from member interactions to help improve program design and delivery.
• Documentation - Maintain accurate and timely notes in the electronic case-management system.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a certified health and wellness coach.
• Experience working with adults ages 50-80 .
• Strong communication skills and training in motivational interviewing .
• Experience coaching via phone or video .
• Ability to quickly learn program content and communicate it clearly.
• High proficiency with multiple technology platforms .
• Fast learner, strong problem-solver, and adaptable to rapid change.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment .
• Experience with Apple products , including Mac and Google Workspace.
• Previous startup experience is a plus.
