Financial Reporting Analyst, US Funds About the Role Wellington Management sponsors and sub‑advises a broad array of investment funds, including long‑only and alternative strategies. Fund Services supports financing, accounting, and operations. This analyst works within the Fund Reporting & Audit team, responsible for completing annual fund financial statement audits and regulatory filings alongside other Wellington teams and external service providers. Responsibilities Assist with the annual audit process, including financial statement reviews and coordination with fund auditors and service providers. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly centralized activities such as regulatory filings, client reporting, and management reporting. Identify, develop, and implement process‑improvement initiatives. Respond to internal and external inquiries across a broad array of topics. Support projects related to fund operational infrastructure and service providers. Enhance internal controls and process documentation. Develop relationships with Wellington’s centralized teams and external stakeholders. Leverage IT skills to identify and implement efficiencies. Qualifications College undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business. 5‑10 years of experience at a public accounting firm, asset‑management firm, or fund administrator. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Curiosity and desire to expand knowledge and role. Advanced Excel, Access, and business‑intelligence IT skills (Alteryx, SQL, Tableau) or willingness to develop them. Proactive in developing and improving processes. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, balancing multiple tasks and competing priorities. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Progress toward CPA, CFA, CAIA, or MBA is a plus. Job Family InvesTech Location 280 Congress, Washington, DC Compensation Base salary range: USD 80,000 – 150,000. Salary is part of a broader compensation package that may include discretionary bonuses, corporate incentive plans, and other rewards.
