Senior Software Engineer - Integrated HPC & Quantum Solutions

Develop and demonstrate software that supports quantum computing applications and HPC-QC system management through job management, scheduling, compilation, and workflow frameworks. Create software adapters that connect quantum computing software tools (compilers, SDKs) with other tools using open standards where possible. Evaluate open-source and commercial software for inclusion in integrated HPC-QC environments. Develop functional and unit tests, support code quality with automated testing and continuous integration. Assist with code reviews and improve software prototypes. Create mock-up and test bed systems to demonstrate HPC-QC software capabilities. Prepare internal and external demonstrations, create technical documentation, and write portions of research papers relating to software development efforts. Contribute to the development of open specifications and standards to support interoperability in quantum computing. Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent work experience 6 or more years of programming experience Advanced programming skills in low-level languages such as C, C++, or Rust, and advanced programming skills in Python Experience contributing to large software projects and creating new software efforts, including library API design.
