Job Title (MNT) Registered Dietitian Department Nutrition Reports to MNT Manager Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (Short & Long Term Disability) 403(b) Plan Paid Holidays CME (Continuing Medical Education) About Position Work Location(s): Moncure Community Health Center: 7228 Moncure‑Pittsboro Road, Moncure, NC 27559 Siler City Community Health Center: 224 South 10th Avenue, Siler City, NC 27344 Work Schedule: Monday: 8:00am - 8:00pm Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm This position is a split position between the Moncure and Siler City Community Health Centers. The late night typically alternates between the two sites. One week the 8a-8p schedule is at Moncure on Mondays and then the following week at Siler City on Thursdays. Job Summary The primary responsibility of the (MNT) Registered Dietitian is to be part of the healthcare team to provide nutrition counseling and education to Piedmont Health Services’ patients. Evaluate the patient’s nutritional status and requirements, evaluate patient readiness and confidence to make changes, and develop and help patients implement nutrition care plans. Communicate nutrition care plans to the physicians and other health professionals. Perform tasks that will make MNT financially stable. Minimum Qualifications Education/Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution approved by the ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) with a major in nutrition and a Registered Dietitian. Registered dietitian and licensed dietitian in the state of NC (RD, LDN). Preferred: Spanish speaking; clinical dietetics experience; interest in becoming a certified diabetes educator or is a diabetes educator. Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment. Salary Range $59,050 - $79,358 (commensurate with years of experience)
