JR Financial Analyst

Pine Grove, PA- 17963 Shift Timings: 8AM-4PM Pay Rate: $20.00/hr - $ 21.00/hr

This position is responsible for analyzing financials through collecting, monitoring, and studying data in addition to recommending actions to take against discoverable data. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger that supports the financial statements.

Essential Functions:

• Daily and weekly production report outs
• Journal entry preparation, entry to ledger and month end close duties.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Internal audit requirements
• Continuous Improvement
• Assist with yearly budgets.
• Assist with semi-annual physical inventories.
• Account Reconciliation Preparation
• SOX Testing & Reconciliation Preparation
• Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.

• Read, write, and speak and understand in English, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Bachelors' degree in accounting or finance position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 2 years finance/accounting experience.

Skilled knowledge or direct experience in cost accounting processes is a plus
