Description The Certified HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves diagnosing HVAC system issues, performing repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and in compliance with local codes and regulations. The technician must have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and technology, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. HVAC Operations: Perform HVAC installation and maintenance projects. Technical Oversight: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex HVAC systems. Ensure compliance with industry codes, DOS standards, and contract requirements. Quality Assurance & Safety: Inspect, test, and document HVAC work and performance. Enforce safety protocols and procedures in all HVAC operations. Enforce safety protocols and procedures in all HVAC operations. Working Conditions Work in office, mechanical rooms, and field environments; may require out-of-hours work for urgent HVAC issues. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment; work in varied conditions, including extreme temperatures. Requirements MRPT Clearance required. 1-2 years of experience.
