North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), the nation's largest anesthesia provider, is seeking a Per Diem Anesthesiologist to join their team at HCA Houston Pearland. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert anesthesia care in a 49-bed acute care hospital equipped with a Level IV Trauma Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and a certified Primary Stroke Center. The role involves managing patients undergoing various surgical procedures, excluding pediatrics and cardiac cases. Practice Info HCA Houston Pearland is a 49-bed acute care hospital. Equipped with a Level IV Trauma Center. Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI. Certified Primary Stroke Center. Responsibilities Case assignments: General, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho. NO peds or cardiac. Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed. Compensation Per Diem Hourly Rate. Competitive salary. Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
