About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Valid RN License Certifications: NRP Must-Have: - L&D and Postpartum experience - Experience catching babies Description: The unit consists of 10 beds with a staff that includes a minimum of 2 RNs during night shifts, increasing to 3 depending on patient acuity. Patient ratios are set at 1:3 for couplets. The unit utilizes EMR systems including CPN and Meditech. Candidates should be patient-centered, friendly, and self-driven. Key responsibilities involve catching babies during deliveries, providing routine postpartum care, and addressing circumcision and some GYN post-operative patients. Teamwork and a commitment to excellent patient experiences are pivotal in this role. The unit prioritizes supportive collaboration among staff members.
