Superintendent

Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily activities on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing the construction process from the ground up, particularly in multi-family residential projects using wood-frame construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for management review.
• Ensure that all materials are delivered and used according to project specifications and schedules.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the timeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in multi-family construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of stick-frame/ wood-frame construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
