Combat Systems Launcher Systems Support Technician II

Overview Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Combat Systems Launcher Systems Support Technician II in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities Read schematics and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot wiring and other electrical/electronic components; assemble, test, and troubleshoot pneumatic lines, valves, hydraulic lines and valves across various launcher systems. MK 32 SVTTs: Disassemble, repair, refurbish, reassemble, and test all MKs and MODs of SVTT mounts; remove and reinstall SVTT mounts before and after refurbishment aboard U.S. Navy ships. Torpedo Breech Mechanisms: Obtain and maintain Torpedo Breech Mechanism Certification through the ISEA within 60 calendar days; troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, overhaul and test Torpedo Breech Mechanisms; perform ORD-ALTS per technical requirements. MK 137 MODs 1, 2, 4 SRBOC Launchers: remove, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair/overhaul, reassemble, install launchers; conduct electronic operational tests before and after final torque of base bolts; solder connection wires per system manual (Reference 3.6.2.1-I). MK 137 MODs 7 and 10 NULKA (Decoy Launching System): remove, disassemble, overhaul, reassemble, install NULKA systems; solder wires per Reference 3.6.2.1-J. AN/SLQ-32 EW System: remove, disassemble/depopulate, reassemble, install SLQ-32 EW Systems. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years' experience Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools Navy rates; GM/FC/TM/CTT/AO or equivalent industry background preferred Navy/ship/IMA repair experience Ability to use power tools and wear a respirator Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and repair standards Ability to assist in operational testing, removals/installations, alignments, assembly/disassembly and equipment inspections Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret security clearance Obtain 301 Craftsman qualification within 90 days of hire Pay Pay Range : $26.07 to $32.53 hourly. This is a reasonable estimate. Salaries are determined by factors including local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications. ADA Notations Requires walking, standing, climbing stairs, visual skills and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
