Inventory Manager

What You Will Be Doing: As the Inventory Manager for Yancey's Electric Power Generation group, you will provide optimal inventory accuracy for the dealership. You will perform multiple duties related to inventory acquisition and inventory performance, vendor performance and internal customer service to achieve the greatest return on investment for Yancey Bros. Co. To be effective, you must establish an understanding of the core objectives and accountabilities for the role. Primary Responsibilities: Daily receiving of new inventory. Code CAT invoices. Update inventory with part numbers, serial numbers, inbound freight costs, and send copies of all invoices to AP for payment. Code non‑CAT vendor invoices. Update inventory with part numbers, serial numbers, inbound freight costs, and send copies of all invoices to AP for payment. Monthly order placement. Maintaining and updating configurations. Complete and maintain aged inventory reports. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an Inventory Manager in a similar industry, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and maintain a strong focus on customer service. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Four‑year college degree from an accredited institution preferred. 1–3 years of industry experience. Required Qualifications/Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this position will frequently contact people via email, phone, and in person. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite, especially Excel). Highly organized and analytical with advanced attention to detail. Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
