That's why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position OverviewThe Executive Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic development, operational excellence, and financial sustainability of an Residential treatment facility. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire a collaborative and client-centered environment while maintaining the highest standards of care and fostering organizational growth.Responsible for the overall performance of the treatment facility, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding employee leadership, and financial sustainability.Responsible for the development of strategic plans to achieve both operational and financial targets. Collaborating with clinical leaders, community stakeholders, internal stakeholders to ensure census goals are met and productivity standards are upheld.This key leadership role fosters a collaborative and client-centered environment, maintaining the highest quality of care, while driving the growth and success of the site.Dedicated to promoting an inclusive and culturally competent work environment as well as creating a welcoming atmosphere within the Res Programs.Schedule1.0 FTE, (40hrs/wk), working Monday through Friday approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm.On-Call & Holiday Rotation Coverage NeededLocation4 Nickerson St Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98109Compensation DisclosureExecutive Director Starting Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the positionHow Executive Director's Empower RecoveryOversees onsite day to day operations of assigned programs and analyzes Key Performance Indicators of each program to ensure the embodiment of the organizational values of access to care and clinical quality.Collaborate with Sr. Vice President to identify areas of improvement within programs and solution focused plans of action.Collaboratively partners with Human Resources department to lead team and establish a trusting and productive department. This includes carrying out essential HR functions for direct reports (i.e. hiring, annual reviews, performance management, and personnel improvement plans).Responsible for ensuring compliance with systems, policies, and procedures in each program.Ensures programs are in compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and requirements of third-party payers.Meet or exceed monthly census goals for residential program areas.Maintain high standards of timeliness, accuracy, and quality in provider documentation.Achieve high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional care, actively monitoring outcomes, and implementing innovative treatment approaches.Cultivate strong relationships with staff through clear communication, leadership development, and a supportive work environment.Oversee clinical operations, ensuring billable hour targets, client feedback integration, and overall staff performance meet excellence standards.Make strategic decisions on hiring, program expansion/contraction, and staffing models to balance client demand with financial goals.Manage new client inquiries, waitlists, and overall program census to maximize service delivery and site efficiency.Ensure comprehensive oversight of treatment programs, including co-occurring specialties and innovative therapeutic models, to achieve client and financial objectives.Provide direction, coaching, and support to the leadership team, ensuring alignment with site goals and performance measures.Maintain a small caseload, if licensed as a clinical therapist, to stay connected to the client experience and ensure the ongoing relevance of clinical services.Provide clinical supervision in accordance with licensure, contributing to staff development and quality care, as needed.Participate in clinical/administrative on call rotation within facility, as needed.Other responsibilities as neededQualificationsEducation QualificationsMaster's degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC), or a closely related discipline is required.Licensure Requirement: Active Independent licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent is required.Professional QualificationsMinimum of five years of management experience in the healthcare industry, required.Eating Disorder experience, highly preferred.Experience in individual and family psychotherapy, required.Board-approved clinical supervisor, highly preferred.Eating Disorder Certification, highly preferred.Additional RequirementsValid driver's license and authorization to drive company vehicles, required.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire), required.CompetenciesClient-Centered Leadership: Prioritize the needs of the Emily Program over individual or departmental interests.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize evidence-based data to drive quality and operational excellence.Team Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and professional growth.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and leverage strong partnerships across departments and sites.Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate passion for client care, operational success, and fiscal responsibility.Therapeutic Communication: Use strong clinical communication skills to enhance client relationships and improve outcomes.Continuous Improvement: Engage in self-reflection and actively seek feedback from peers, clients, and colleagues.Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Employ leadership and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and build positive relationships within the site and across the organization.What we offerEmployee BenefitsWe understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
