Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionResponsible for approving the extension of credit and/or making recommendations to the person(s) making the final lending decisions on new, renewal, and extension loans for business banking clients, to approve or deny the extension of credit. Prior to making the credit decision or advising the person(s) making the final credit decision, the Credit Analyst conducts a complete credit analysis, including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective commercial and small business customers. This includes evaluating business financial statements, cash flow, collateral, industry trends, and repayment capacity to assess overall creditworthiness.Reviews customer accounts and portfolios to identify, evaluate, and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company. Supports relationship managers and business banking partners by providing sound credit recommendations and ongoing portfolio monitoring. May use technological tools, including computer software, to assist in the credit analysis process by helping evaluate a particular credit, relationship, or portfolio.
