**We need: A mid-level (5+ years) Business intelligence analyst with experience working with Power BI. The Senior Analyst will research best practices and spearhead the development of innovative solution recommendations for current business operations. They will collaborate with internal and external customers to identify complex analytical requirements, transforming data into critical information and knowledge for strategic business decisions. Candidates must have advanced proficiency with Excel, pivot tables, data mining, SQL, and report generation as well as proficiency with PowerBI. Job Description: Managers Notes: This role was previously open and their choice candidate just backed-out. It is a part of Berkley's Aspire Insurance division and is based out of Westchester, OH (right next to Cincinnati) in office 4x weekly. Power BI focused managing pre-existing reports built for their sales and underwriting teams and also building new reports as requested/needed. Targeting around 5 years of experience and around $95k salary. No Visa candidates…..only local USC or GC

Responsibilities:

• Support production underwriting and distribution teams.
• Run month-end reports and manage regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy, congruence, and reliability.
• Convert complex data sets into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Conduct thorough analyses of functional business processes and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify advanced analytical needs.
• Drive the development of business cases to support significant process changes.
• Document processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

• Independently manage and execute data analysis projects.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems and dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data or science related field required.
• Insurance industry knowledge and experience a bonus.
• 5-10 years relevant professional analytic experience required.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, pivot tables, data mining, SQL, and report generation.
• Strong familiarity with PowerBI is a significant bonus.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of how data supports key business processes.
