This full-time, school-year contract opportunity involves working closely with elementary students across four school locations, focusing on delivering individualized instruction and specialized support. The assignment spans from ASAP through late June 2027, making it ideal for educators enthusiastic about making a long-term difference.

You’ll work in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families, ensuring students receive the exceptional services they deserve. The position covers a broad caseload, with opportunities to lead educational evaluations and help shape positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Special Education (SPED/Learning Disability preferred)
• Experience conducting educational evaluations is essential
• Familiarity with supporting elementary students, tailoring instruction to IEP requirements
• NJ Tech Certification required
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 30–40 elementary students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct and document evaluations to monitor student progress
• Collaborate with general education staff and families for student success
• Travel between four school sites, serving as a resource and advocate
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
