Assistant Service Manager Reports To: Service Manager FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Updated: April 2025 Summary: The Assistant Service Manager supports all aspects of the service department at ERIK'S, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure operational excellence, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and maintain a high-performing service team. This role helps lead daily operations, supports staff development, and upholds ERIK'S service standards. Key Responsibilities Driving Service Department Performance Overseeing Service Operations Developing Staff Ensuring each customer experiences the highest level of service. Qualifications Proven success as a bicycle mechanic. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities - both verbal and written. Customer-first mindset with excellent service skills. Leadership capabilities to inspire, guide, and support a high-performing team. In-depth knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance. Proficiency with technology and computer systems. Strong time management and organizational skills. High personal accountability and a results-driven approach. Working Conditions Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
