We are seeking a senior level Python developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA or remote setting for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. If you have 6+ years of Python development experience developing APIs and leveraging NumPy and Pandas libraries, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Develop automation in Python to identify characteristics, relationships, and trends on large user populations
- Develop automation in Python to filter users into groups based on the above criteria
- Use Python to make API calls to supported databases and tools
- Use Python data science libraries like NumPy and Pandas to develop, enhance, and maintain data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Develop and maintain front end using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Python development experience developing/maintaining APIs using Flask or equivalent technologies
- In-depth knowledge of web technologies like and Apache required
- Must have extensive development experience with Unix and Linux operating systems
- Previous front end experience using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML required
- Previous development experience in agile environment required
- Bachelors in computer science or related field of study
