You will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.ResponsibilitiesMonitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and adviceObserve and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physiciansCollaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsPerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ chartsAdjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s ordersFoster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their familiesSkillsProven minimum of one year acute care experience as a nurseExcellent knowledge of nursing care methods and proceduresCritical thinkingA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsible and compassionateOutstanding organizational and multi-tasking skillsPatient with excellent problem-solving skillsValid nursing licenseThis position is in our Jacksonville location. Must have reliable transportation. Qualifying Mileage reimbursement is available.
