Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float between Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) units as part of the Float Pool
• Provide direct patient care at ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, trauma, and stroke
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Participate in holiday and weekend scheduling as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 2 years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting
• Recent, hands-on EPIC experience (required; must be clearly documented on submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Influenza vaccination and completed 2-step PPD required — no exceptions
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated comfort and competency managing higher-acuity IMC patient populations
• Experience floating across multiple unit types within a hospital environment
