Neurosurgeon

As a Neurosurgeon and officer on the U.S. Army healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to practice the most advanced procedures and techniques. You will work in one of our state-of-the-art medical facilities worldwide and network with other well-known professionals in your specialized field. Full time - Active Duty

Benefits:

• Signing Bonus: $600,000 for 4-year Obligation

• Loan Repayment: Receive $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).

• Incentive Pay: $59,000 annually plus eligibility to receive a retention bonus after completion of training.
  Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.

• Time Off: 30 days paid vacation annually plus over 20 days for federal holidays and "Days of no Scheduled Activities."

Army Reserve (Part-time)

• State of choice for work, 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year. $500 in travel reimbursement

• Loan Repayment: Receive $250,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (HPLRP).

• Specialized Training Assistance: Monthly stipend while enrolled in an accredited residency program. Recipients must be a U.S. citizen and will serve in the Army Reserve after completing residency.
