ICU RN Ratios: 1:2 Years of experience REQ: 2 years First timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: yes, varies/flexible Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS Required; NIH Preferred Is on-call REQ? No Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, will float to AAU and MS Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed Locals accepted: No RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays. Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek. Special Requirements: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, IV insulin protocols, GI Surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Continuous IV sedations, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, BiPap and CPAP Management, care of ventilated patients, HFNC, interpretation of ABGs, suctioning, vent management, infection prevention, isolations/use of PPE Unit Information: Heavy Medical ICU. Some surgical patients. Mainly GI or carotids. Very active 24/7 Cath Lab, which admits into ICU.
