Take on an impactful, short-term assignment supporting students’ growth and independence as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the greater Seattle area. This contract opportunity is designed for an OT who enjoys working collaboratively and is ready to step into a dynamic school environment for a 4-week duration, covering 40 hours per week. Start date is as soon as possible and work site will be determined prior to your start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and manage an assigned caseload in partnership with the school team.
• Conduct and participate in special education evaluations, reevaluations, and individualized education program (IEP) meetings.
• Develop, implement, and update occupational therapy services, goals, and accommodations tailored for each student.
• Deliver therapy and consultation services across both general education and special education settings.
• Work closely with teachers, paraeducators, families, and additional support staff to ensure cohesive services for students.
• Adapt activities, materials, and equipment to fit unique student needs and maximize participation.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including evaluation reports, progress tracking, and all required records.
• Monitor student data, using insights to refine therapy plans and supports as needed.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current OSPI certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working as a school-based OT is required.
• Strong familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and special education regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
