Director Of Business Development - Osw/Cio/CdaoGDIT is seeking a Director of Business Development - OSW/CIO/CDAO to lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business opportunities within GDIT's Army and Defense Agencies (A&DA) Sector. The candidate will leverage their deep understanding of the government's mission priorities, as well as key relationships within relevant agencies. Occasional travel to support customer engagement is required.You will leverage your knowledge to develop customer and partner relationships, provide thought leadership in the marketplace, and lead the development and execution of GDIT's go-to-market account plans. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to play a leadership role as we work together and apply the significant resources available in our organization to meet critical technology and mission challenges.Meaningful Work And Personal Impact:Drive new business development lifecycle opportunities - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post-submission phase of the Capture processBring creativity to the customer engagement process to develop strong relationships and improve GDIT's positioning and brand recognitionDevelop customer relationships, improve customer intimacy, strengthen key customer relationshipsMeet with OEM vendors, other GD business units, and potential industry partners to collect information about opportunities and customersWork as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to formulate, communicate, and implement an integrated business development strategy that provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for the awardDevelop and implement account plans and campaign strategies, maintaining current knowledge of the customer's requirements, understanding the competitive landscape, and architecting winning strategies that highlight GDIT's strengths and mitigate perceived weaknessesEstablish value-added teaming strategies and deploy competitive pricing structures to create a profitable returnLead identification, qualification, and capture on select OTAs, CSOs and Market Place opportunities with assistance from the Defense CTO and Solution ArchitectsWhat You'll Need To Succeed:Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of Sales/BD/Capture/Proposal/Government experience with a demonstrable track record of success in Federal government contracting. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, combination of education, work experience and certifications will be considered.Experience developing business in and cultivating relationships across a variety of Office and/or agencies within the Office of the Secretary of War, to include the DoW CIO, the Office of the Under Secretary USD (R&E) and the DoW Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Organization.Successful track record advancing new business development strategies for opportunities of varying sizes, ideally resulting in multiple contract or task order wins of $100M or higherProven ability to build relationships and lead people, influencing all levels of an organizationExceptional communication and presentation skillsActive engagement as a visible thought leader in the relevant customer eco-system(s)Able to develop actionable plans by leveraging market knowledgeHighly collaborative leader that can lead teams and also contribute effectively as a team member or individual contributorExperience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), SharePoint, and all Microsoft Office applicationsClearance: Secret required to start with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCILocation: Hybrid schedule minimum 3 days/week in the Falls Church, VA office.US Citizenship required
