Inventory Technician

Pride Health is hiring an Inventory Technician to support our client's healthcare facility in Oklahoma City. Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM Location: Oklahoma City, 73104 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 13 weeks. Contract opportunity with possibility of extension Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and designated supply locations while following proper inventory rotation procedures.
  • Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items.
  • Pick supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts.
  • Restock Exchange Carts, including Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays.
  • Check supply locations for product expiration dates and remove expired products according to policy.
  • Distribute oxygen tanks as required.
  • Deliver supplies and packages to nursing units, clinics, and other designated locations using appropriate signature technologies.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and customer service requests.
  • Process issues and credits in the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring appropriate allocation of item costs.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and maintain required documentation according to policy.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Use handheld devices, package scanners, computer systems, and other software applications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure supply locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash.
  • Assist with special projects and Supply Chain staff training as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required.
  • Healthcare and/or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to type and use computers, software applications, and general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing MMIS or ability to learn the system.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-pressure healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication skills with coworkers, management, and clinical partners.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal English, including active listening.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn software applications and technologies required for the role.
