Position Overview We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated team of diagnostic imaging specialists. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to facilitate diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with other knowledgeable clinicians, and provide comfort to patients through timely and precise imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures by elucidating each phase with empathy and clarity
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
- Effectively manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Thoroughly document imaging procedures and keep patient records up-to-date in our electronic medical system
- Commit to continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound technology and techniques
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging practices and patient positioning techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
