Architect

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Enterprise Architect to fill an open position with one of our clients in the utilities industry. This role offers the chance to shape enterprise-wide technology strategy and drive innovation across business-critical systems. You’ll partner closely with teams spanning application development, infrastructure, security, data & analytics, and project management. This is a leadership opportunity to develop architectural vision and standards, influence transformation roadmaps, and deliver robust security strategies. Be the primary advisor to senior leadership and a trusted architecture thought leader.

- Lead architecture decisions, define capability roadmaps, and set technology standards across the enterprise.

- Design architecture blueprints, review solution options, and advise on risks, costs, and impact.

- Guide business and technical stakeholders through architectural governance, review boards, and strategic solution development.

- Research, analyze, and deliver solutions using cutting-edge technologies and frameworks; track industry trends for continuous innovation.

The Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with extensive experience in security (Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Identity Management, Firewall Management, End Point Protection, Risk Management, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, SIEM, SOAR, Data Loss Prevention, IPS/IDS, Cloud Services, IoT/OT Security, Data Encryption, DevSecOps automation).

- Proven expertise in security architecture design, policy & compliance, risk/asset management, and incident monitoring and response.

- Hands-on with security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001; knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, and business process frameworks.

- Experienced with on-premises and cloud platforms: Azure and AWS.

- Strong consultative skills, leadership in mentoring architects, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Highly proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LeanIX; certifications such as CISSP and CISM strongly preferred.
