Busy multi-disciplinary clinic in St. Louis Park seeking a motivated and professional medical assistant to join our team. You would be relied on as the main support staff to serve one on one with a doctor within our clinic.
Main duties include:
Room patients, Perform all lab work (including venipuncture), ECG, etc., Assist doctors with procedures, Communicate with patients addressing issues, explaining procedures, providing education per doctor’s request, Communicate with LabCorp, Communicate with pharmacies, Prepare Prior Authorizations, Call patients with lab results and any other messages from doctors, Fill out medical documentation/forms for doctor to sign/review, Clean treatment rooms, laboratory, x-ray and procedure rooms, Clean instruments, Organize medical supplies (stock rooms), Maintain fridge record log.
Working hours are 9-5 M-F with overtime requested occasionally.
Employees are eligible for 2 weeks paid vacation in their first year.
