This Mechanical Engineer will work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems using engineering software, including support to more senior engineers. The position reports to the Engineering Manager of Balance of Plant Mechanical Engineering and is located at our Rock Hill, SC facility. Relocation assistance is not provided. Key Responsibilities Apply engineering principles and engineering codes & standards, such as ASME and ANSI, to the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems. Resolve technical issues for operating nuclear power plants, new plants (e.g., AP1000, eVinci), and other nuclear projects (e.g., fuel fabrication facilities). Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results following ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes. Work with engineers in other disciplines such as electrical and civil/structural. Participate on project teams with internal and external representation. Participate in customer and vendor meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs. Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements. Qualifications Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Other engineering disciplines will not be considered for this position. GPA 3.0 and above. Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. 0+ years of experience. Power industry (e.g., nuclear power plant) experience preferred. Familiarity with ASME Section III criteria. Ability to work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information. Proficiency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working in an international team environment. Willingness to relocate for short‑term and long‑term assignments. Compensation & Benefits This position is paid annually. The base salary range for this position, which depends on experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
