Team Leader position in manufacturing operations at a life-science company focused on regulated production environments. Lead a team of 5-15 people while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, managing production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Guide and develop high-performing teams while maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards
- Coordinate cross-shift department activities to meet production schedules and equipment efficiency requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize workflows in collaboration with Quality and Engineering
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and training, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage daily production activities and maintain optimal cost-benefit ratios
Requirements
- Advanced degree with no prior experience, or bachelor's degree with 2+ years regulated industry experience
- Background in engineering, chemistry, biology, or related technical field preferred
- Leadership experience managing teams of 5-15 people
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, and quality management systems
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or higher) beneficial; IOSH Managing Safely advantageous
- Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Physical capability to stand extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs in regulated cleanroom environments
Compensation: $29.74–$39.66 hourly
