Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (current)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (current)
• Demonstrated ability to pass a proctored rhythm test
• Previous experience in stepdown, PCU, or cardiac surgery setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-cardiac surgery patients in a fast-paced unit
• Monitor vital signs, recognize arrhythmias, and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and allied health professionals to create comprehensive care plans
• Administer medications, interventions, and therapies per hospital protocol
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during postoperative recovery
