The Marketing Coordinator for Epstein Becker Green will provide marketing communications support for the firm’s external brand building and profile-raising efforts, as well as contribute to the success of internal culture cultivating projects. Responsibilities: Monitor and track media hits daily, communicate media coverage details to attorneys, and compile yearly metrics Execute conflicts checks to support public relations and thought leadership generation efforts Post content—including blogs, news and media coverage, events, announcements and press releases, and attorney bio updates—to the firm website Work with attorneys and other members of the Marketing team to facilitate all aspects of the blog publication process Contribute to the creation of internal and external firm communications including news releases, internal firm announcements and reporting, and other internal or external messaging on an as-needed basis Support drafting of firm’s submissions to legal rankings, awards and publications/surveys, including Chambers USA, Legal 500, and U.S. News/Best Lawyers Work closely with the Communications and Marketing Manager to steward brand consistency across internal and external communications efforts Play an integral role in the planning and execution of the firm’s signature internal events: the annual Partner Retreat and biannual Associate Summit, including programming and logistics as well as vendor and venue research. Additional projects and other duties, as assigned Education Required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, English, or Communications Experience Required: Minimum of two years of marketing, communications, public relations, and/or sales experience in a professional services organization or closely related work environment preferred Skills Required: Team player with a strong work ethic and professionalism while collaborating with colleagues of all levels across other functions, departments and offices of a company Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and copyediting skills Exceptional time management and organizational skills Solid analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving skills Proactive, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects while producing high-quality work deliverables Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with CRM and ERM systems a plus Willing and able to work occasional overtime, as needed Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer The expected salary range for this position is $72,000 - $87,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. The salary offered is based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary, a generous employee benefits package including healthcare benefits is offered, and successful employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
