This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care • Follow all organizational, regulatory, and clinical practice standards Requirements • Active New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) License required • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program required • Home health experience preferred • Experience in an acute care setting, preferably within a large academic medical center, strongly preferred • 0-4 years of Physical Therapist experience strongly preferred • Epic EMR experience preferred • Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Required Clinical Skills • Physical therapy evaluations and treatment planning • Functional mobility and gait training • Therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation techniques • Patient and caregiver education • Electronic medical record documentation • Interdisciplinary care coordination • Clinical assessment and progress monitoring Schedule & Assignment Details • Monday-Friday schedule • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM shifts • No weekend coverage required • 13-week contract assignment • Coverage throughout the Morris County region What Candidates Can Expect We believe transparency matters.
