Physician Assistant - Dermatology

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with board-certified dermatologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of skin conditions. This position involves diagnosing, treating, and managing medical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive dermatologic examinations and assessments.

• Diagnose and treat common and complex skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin infections, and skin cancers.

• Perform in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, incision & drainage, and minor surgical procedures.

• Assist in or independently perform cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox, fillers, laser treatments, and chemical peels (as trained and applicable).

• Prescribe medications and counsel patients on skincare regimens and treatment plans.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and pathology reports.

• Provide patient education on disease prevention, sun protection, and skincare.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Collaborate closely with supervising dermatologists and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in [State].

• National certification by the NCCPA.

• Valid DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).

• Dermatology experience preferred (1+ year), though new graduates with strong interest in dermatology may be considered.

• Exceptional communication skills and a professional bedside manner.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
