Location: Neptune, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays Required as Needed. On-Call Requirement: After 90 days. Float Requirement: To ASC as needed.

Pay Range: $55/HR TO $60/HR ON W2

Duties:

• Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
• Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualifications required for services:
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Must have level I Trauma Experience
• Scrub is a plus.
• Must do endovascular, spine, neuro, Ortho, Ortho trauma.
• BLS Certification
• NJ or Compact State RN license.
