Inspection Manager

Manage inspection team, across 3 shifts, to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy. Train and mentor inspection staff on best practices and new technologies. Implement and manage state-of-the-art measurement and load machine equipment. Develop and refine measurement protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability. Utilize Lean methodologies to improve processes and reduce waste. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain the calibration program and tracking of all tools and gages, including addition of new equipment and replacement of equipment.

A successful 'Inspection Manager' should have: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree preferred OR equivalent experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge and capabilities will also be considered. Strong leadership and team management skills. Greenbelt certification with extensive experience in SPC implementation is preferred. Proven experience in implementing and managing measurement and load machine equipment. Strong background in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement. Significant experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Base salary of $85k-$105k depending on experience. Health, dental, vision coverage. 401(k) matching. 17 days of PTO. Tuition reimbursement.
