JOB DUTIES INCLUDE...

ENGAGE PAW’S COLLABORATIVE PROCESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES... Attend individual Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative Team. Track progress through Core Training, and track issues and accomplishments as they arise Provide feedback on guidelines, processes and policies with intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness Attend departmental or All-Staff meetings PERFORM PROCESS RELATED DUTIES... Direct and concise communications with caregivers Recognize and respond accordingly to emotionally charged interactions with caregivers and/or staff Utilize practice management software for the creation of estimates, invoices, prescriptions, and certificates SERVICE-MINDED ACTIONS... Safe handling, movement, restraint and relocation of patients Maintenance of all biosecurity, cleanliness, and isolation protocols Proficient sample acquisition, phlebotomy, laboratory & surgical practices Read, interpret and assist with the implementation of written medical treatments PRACTICE PATIENT RELATED DUTIES... Triage and assist incoming patient based on urgency of care and available resources Assist and perform in the vaccination of animals Assist in surgical procedures and/or dental prophylaxis Monitor and recover all assigned sedation and anesthetic events Assist and perform first aid and euthanasia Qualifications This is an overnight position with working hours starting at 10 pm and ending at 8 am

Certified Veterinary Technician, 1+ year experience preferred but not required Part-Time or Full-Time options available A high work ethic and positive attitude team member Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work Weekend availability, 36 hours a week, 12 hour shifts Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely Interpret medical records and record client history accurately Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner Proficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skin Ability to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and tests Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs A self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillset Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency Additional Information PAY RANGE: $20 - $25/hr. Based on Experience | +Night Shift Premium
