Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 13 months of welding experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Ability to position, align, and fit metal components for welding
• Experience using welding techniques such as arc, gas-shielded arc (MIG), and submerged arc welding preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds
• Ability to safely operate welding equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications
• Reliable attendance and willingness to train on 1st shift for an extended period
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

• Position, align, and fit metal components for welding
• Secure parts using clamps, bolts, and tack welds prior to welding
• Set up and operate welding equipment using various welding processes
• Assemble metal components through welding, bolting, and riveting methods
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling components
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Perform additional welding and production duties as assigned
