Job Opportunity: Full-Time Breast Radiologist
Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent healthcare facility in Queens, NY, is on the lookout for a dedicated Breast Radiologist to join our team. This facility is a 545-bed tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center, serving a richly diverse community.
This position presents a unique chance to become part of a stable department, where turnover is minimal and radiologists often remain with us for many years. Key Responsibilities- Interpret a comprehensive range of breast imaging modalities, including mammography (with tomosynthesis), ultrasound, and MRI.
- Conduct image-guided procedures such as fine needle aspiration (FNA), core biopsy, and both needle and non-wire localizations.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and ensure timely report sign-offs.
- Participate in departmental committees as directed by the Site Chair and System Chair.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology with ACGME-accredited fellowship training in breast imaging.
- Valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A solid work ethic and a commitment to teamwork within a health system.
This role offers a faculty appointment with our organization, which will be aligned with your credentials, experience, and qualifications. The base salary is set at $520,000, not including additional faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
