Field Reimbursement Specialist Senior Manager - West

Amgen Inc

Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Senior Manager to lead a regional team supporting Tezspire access in the respiratory market. The role involves team leadership, strategy execution, payer engagement, and oversight of field performance across specialty pharmacy and medical benefit channels.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers with clear performance expectations
Establish and monitor regional KPIs, service-level targets, and customer engagement measures
Develop and execute regional reimbursement strategies aligned with national priorities and market insights
Maintain field presence to observe customer interactions, coach team members, and assess market dynamics
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Medical, and Operations teams to resolve access barriers

Requirements

Demonstrated experience leading and developing field teams in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings
Strong expertise in reimbursement strategy, payer dynamics, and access-to-medicines programs
Proficiency navigating dual-benefit product models (specialty pharmacy and medical benefit)
Proven ability to translate national priorities into regional field execution and account strategies
Experience with performance management, KPI tracking, and field-based coaching
Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and pharmaceutical business rules of engagement
