Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time, entry-level Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team here at The Masquerade. Ideal applicants should be highly self-motivated, able to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong time management and organizational skills. Job Location: Atlanta, GA Job Type: Full-time – Entry Level Pay Range: $18-21 / hour The position is designed to be worked Monday – Friday during the day at the office at Underground Atlanta. The position is entry-level and best suited for recent college grads. Some limited weekend work is required. REQUIREMENTS: A love for live music and concert culture Familiarity with music scenes, genres, and emerging artists Familiarity with The Masquerade and The Masquerade’s brand voice Strong understanding of major social media platforms and internet culture Familiarity with digital marketing and social media analytics Strong copywriting skills with excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail Ability to think creatively and proactively rather than simply executing assigned tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills Demonstrates self-sufficiency, initiative, openness to feedback, and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize across a variety of projects RESPONSIBILITIES: Copywriting, scheduling, and publishing social media posts across platforms Owning and maintaining the social media content calendar Creating timely editorial and engagement-based social content around artists, trends, announcements, and cultural moments Monitoring artist releases, online trends, fan conversations, and performance analytics to inform content strategy Interacting with fans online and occasionally onsite at shows Website maintenance / adding and updating event listings Maintaining the photo archive Coordinating and maintaining Street Team efforts Keeping organized and up to speed in email communications Assisting artist teams and marketing management with campaigns and special projects Occasional errands and other duties as needed to support successful shows TO APPLY: Please email your resume and an introduction as to why you would be a good fit – including the last show you saw at The Masquerade and your 5 favorite artists at the moment to View email address on click.appcast.io with the subject “Social Media Coordinator Position” #J-18808-Ljbffr
