AFIC is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in both English and Portuguese . This is primarily an English-speaking role, with assistance provided to Portuguese-speaking customers as needed. Candidates must be comfortable handling professional phone conversations in both languages throughout the day..

Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
Guide customers through the initial claims process with clarity and empathy
Enter and maintain confidential customer information accurately
Resolve routine inquiries and escalate more complex issues when needed
Meet expectations for quality, accuracy, and productivity
Requirements: What We’re Looking For
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required
1+ year of customer service, call center, or collections experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Clear, confident phone communication skills
Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
Consistent attendance and reliability
High school diploma or equivalent (insurance experience a plus)

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience
