Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mixers, blenders, grinding mills, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. You will also handle 480v electrical systems, including testing with a voltmeter and changing out motors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mixers, blenders, and grinding mills.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including bearings, shafts, sprockets, and chains.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
• Test and repair 480v electrical systems using a voltmeter.
• Replace motors and test fuses.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and valves.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or lead.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance on industrial equipment.
• 480v troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Leadership skills.

Work Environment

You will be working in a production environment within a maintenance team consisting of three technicians, a current maintenance supervisor, and a director of maintenance. The position is for the 1st shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with the possibility of working later to complete jobs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in West Chicago,IL.
