Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized Dispatcher for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Dallas, TX within the energy and utilities industry. As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate service appointments, communicate with customers, support field technicians, and help ensure each job is handled efficiently from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism, courtesy, and a helpful attitude. Schedule, confirm, and update daily service appointments. Dispatch and route technicians to customer locations and job assignments. Communicate schedule changes, delays, and appointment updates to customers and field teams. Maintain accurate customer records, service notes, and appointment details. Assist with general administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $18 to $20 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire. Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday daytime schedule. Work environment: In-office, business-casual setting. Dispatch field technicians and communicate routing updates. Support customers by phone and provide accurate service information. Maintain organized records and assist with administrative workflow. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, call center, or administrative support preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a full-time office setting. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not required. Experience supporting field service teams, service technicians, or utility-related operations is helpful.
