Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Experience meaningful work as a School Psychologist, making a difference in students' lives throughout a supportive county setting. Two contract opportunities are available for skilled professionals passionate about fostering positive student outcomes for the upcoming school year. With a home base at a dedicated school, you’ll provide expertise and compassion across classrooms and sites countywide.
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule—typically 7 hours per day between 7:45 am and 3:15 pm—giving you balance for personal and professional pursuits. Your caseload will be thoughtfully assigned and may vary according to each school’s needs, enabling you to apply your skills in dynamic ways.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and interventions
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility for working across multiple school sites
- Experience in educational settings or similar environments is highly valued
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support student success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in creating and implementing IEPs and 504 plans
- Offer consultation and support to educators and families regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
- Assist in the development and monitoring of interventions and behavior plans
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in prevention activities as needed
- Travel within the county to address needs at various school locations
