AR Staff Accountant

Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking an experienced AR Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This position focuses on managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Manage full cycle accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct collections efforts to ensure prompt payment from clients. Oversee vendor management to maintain effective relationships and resolve discrepancies. Utilize Excel skills, including V-Lookups, to analyze data and prepare reports. Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations. Maintain organized records and documentation to support financial audits. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required. Requirements Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of V-Lookups. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams. Experience with journal entries and general accounting principles. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work Hours Monday to Friday, First Shift Salary Pay ranges from $28 to $32 per hour.
