Nurse Practitioner
Anchorage, Alaska, United States
See Your Work In A New Light
At LUX Infusion, we're reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux —meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.
We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who wants their work to mean something — a clinician‑leader who brings expertise, accountability, and warmth to the delivery of specialty infusion care.
This role supports care delivery in an Ambulatory Infusion Suite / Clinic (AIS/AIC) and is on‑site at one of the locations listed in the posting. The position is 32 hours per week, with schedule and location subject to change based on business needs.
Why This Role Matters
As a Nurse Practitioner at LUX Infusion, you play a central role in ensuring patients receive safe, evidence‑based infusion therapy in a supportive, well‑coordinated environment. You provide direct care while also shaping clinical excellence across teams and locations.
In this role, your work will:
- Help patients safely receive complex specialty therapies with confidence
- Support clinical teams through leadership, guidance, and best practices
- Strengthen care delivery through consistency, compliance, and collaboration
Every clinical decision connects back to real people managing chronic, often life‑changing conditions — and your leadership helps ensure their care experience is exceptional.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized infusion treatment plans, adjusting care as patient needs evolve
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prescribe medications, interpret labs, and manage infusion therapies within scope of practice
- Provide direct patient care, including infusion oversight and clinical decision‑making
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapies, safety, and expectations throughout treatment
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Monitor medication and supply inventory to support safe and efficient clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and payer credentialing
- Collaborate closely with referring providers, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative partners
- Lead quality assurance activities, accreditation readiness, and process improvement initiatives
- Provide mentorship, supervision, and clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs, and clinical support staff
- Support workflow optimization, staffing coordination, and multi‑site clinical alignment as needed
- Respond appropriately to patient concerns or medical emergencies within scope of practice
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted NP license in the state of practice
- DEA registration, state‑controlled substance license, and NPI number
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong IV access skills and experience with biologic and specialty medication protocols
- Experience coordinating patient care, managing inventory, and maintaining regulatory compliance in an outpatient infusion setting
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and clinical workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Three (3) or more years of experience managing patients on specialty infusion therapies
- Five (5) or more years of infusion therapy experience in an AIS/AIC setting
Why LUX Infusion
At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.
Here, you'll find:
- Purpose‑driven clinical leadership with real patient impact
- A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture
- Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- The opportunity to influence care quality, team development, and operational excellence
Come help elevate infusion care — and see what's possible when care comes first.
