Human Resources Director

We are looking for a new HR Director who will serve the people who help our animals. Our current Director is retiring. The outstanding candidate will have at least 5 years of manager or director level experience in HR, with knowledge/experience in: Advising managers about employee issues or other employee relations activities Employment law Benefits administration for medical, disability, life and FSA plans ADP payroll/benefits/time off modules Disciplinary action FMLA Administration Workers' compensation including incident reporting Recruiting and interviewing for veterinarians and management positions Creating or changing policies for the employee handbook Compensation management Responding to unemployment or discrimination claims Responding to any OSHA complaints or activity Planning and implementing employee appreciation events Experience in supervisory training is a plus In addition to 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, we need someone who is excellent at building relationships, is very organized and is a great communicator.
