Shifts: 0700-1930 and 1100 to 2330, EOW, EOH, no call (can also do 36 hours)

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with oncology/hematology, general medical conditions, and other complex diagnoses.
• Administer and titrate medications, including drips such as insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, and amiodarone.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care effectively.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Participate in floating requirements within med-surg units as necessary.
• Engage in a brief orientation to become familiar with unit protocols and procedures.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Active nursing license
• Acute care experience with comfort in managing complex patients
• Experience with administering and managing medication drips
• Preferably, previous travel experience
